Step by Step

Everything you need to know about activating and using your Universal Mobile SIM card.

Select "new phone number" and "transfer" to add them into a cart, and proceed to sign up the membership. You must sign up before utilizing our services.

※ You cannot apply for an optional plan as of this time. You can apply for it when you request for the activation.

Choose shipping method - Shipping from U.S. Domestic or Japan Domestic, or Pick-up

Send upon reviewing the summary of your order form. You will receive the confirmation via email.

Wait for the SIM card to arrive (by mail)


After you receive the SIM card(Standard SIM)

Choose the optional monthly plan (Japan Call/Asia Call/03 Incoming Call)

Prepare your current carrier's account number and PIN number in advance if you want to transfer your phone number.

Wait until the request start date.


On the start date

When you receive the email for "SIM card activation completed," please insert a new SIM card into your cell phone and restart it.

Submit your phone's IMEI and EID numbers

Find your phone's IMEI(15-digit number) and EID(32-digit number) numbers and register on mypage.

Activate your eSIM

Payment Method

The payment method is auto-payment by a credit card or debit card. (Japanese credit cards are acceptable)

【Auto-payment】

The invoice will be issued after closing on the 10th. The payment due is on the 15th of every month, and it will be automatically paid with your credit card.

Monthly basic rate is prepaid.

The initial billing is included in monthly basic rate calculated prorate, basic rate for the next month, activation fee, optional service fee for the first month, tax, surcharges, and roaming serivces for first month.

We will process the payment with the credit card or debit card you registered.

Our service will be suspended due to some reasons as following. (The transmission of 911 (emergency call) is excluded)

【Payment Method】

We are not responsible for any suspended services caused by credit/debit card company. Please contact the credit card company directly by yourself.

Universal Mobile as a biiller will be shown on the card statement.

You can update your credit or debit card information at any time from My Page.


Change Your Plan / Reissue SIM card

We will contact you by phone, email, or chat to change your plan.

We will charge $ 20.00 when the SIM card is reissued, plan is changed, and an optional service is changed due to loss of the SIM card.

Activation

You can receive the SIM card within 3 business days after purchase.
When you receive the product, please request for activation by phone or on online shortly.

You cannot transfer the phone number that has already been cancelled. We may not be completed the process within the scheduled date due to variety reasons.In order to retain your phone number, you may have to extend your current carrier contract. We cannot bear the cost in that case. Please request activation upon understanding and confirming it.
International Call from United States
About International Call

You can make international calls to more than 140 countries in the United States.
If you use International line, we will recommend $20.00 per month which is special deal.

If you would like to use the special international call rate in the future, please select the "Special international call rate" option when activating the SIM card.

About application

You can utilize this plan monthly basis.

Japan Call

You can make a call to Japan in the U.S. at $15.00 per month. (unlimited calls)

This plan is unlimited calls to landlines and mobile phones to Japan. There is no additional charge.

About applying for Japan Call

You can utilize this plan monthly basis.

Please contact us by phone or email before 2 business days from your requested start date of this plan.

Please contact us by phone by the 8th of every month to cancel this plan.


How to make a Japan call

Call the access number *1 and enter the Country code + Phone number *2 by following the intructions.

※1: The access number will be announced after application.
※2: If the number with 0, please remove 0.

About Service Cancellation

You must contact the Customer Support Center to cancel the automatic credit card withdrawal setting.
(Please note that automatic withdrawal will continue until the setting is canceled)
