In order to use your own device with UNIVERSAL Mobile, please be sure that the following two conditions are met: (1) the device supports band and (2) the device is SIM-free (unlocked).
All iPhone models after iPhone 6 are compatible with Universal Mobile SIM plans

Bring your own phone and get nationwide LTE coverage
You can check compatibility with Universal Mobile by model name and model number.
If the model itself supports it and your phone is unlocked, you can use your own phone without any special procedure.
